Issues with 1.2 update

    1) The Achievements tab does not always appear if an admin awards a badge. And when it does appear, nothing shows up.

    2) When an achievement is published, there’s a yellow box that appears upon submission that says “Post Published. View Post”. Clicking on “View Post” takes you to an invalid page.

    I don’t understand the point of updating to 1.2 when the “selling point” of this plugin (displaying the badges) doesn’t even work. I’m so discouraged ??

    Do you guys need donations to make this plugin work? How can I help here?

    1) Is this in the admin screen that you’re seeing this(sometimes), or on the frontend? Which of the post types listed below are you having trouble seeing this with, or is it with an achievement type you created yourself?

    2) The following are all post types that come with the core plugin:

    Achievement Types
    Log Entries

    Steps
    Submissions
    Nominations

    All are not “public” by default, but the last three are filterable to make public. What this means is that out of the box, they shouldn’t be able to be seen on the frontend. That said, the two that aren’t filterable, Achievement Types and Log entries, should probably have the “view post” link removed. This is not a bug, this is just an oversight regarding admin notifications and frontend “view” links.

    3) We try to test things as rigorously as possible, but there are going to be times when unforeseen issues arise. It’s in those times that we appreciate feedback/issue reporting so that we can investigate and fix. There’s a lot going on with the plugin.

    4) Feedback, encountered gripes, and providing ideas for enhancement and improvement are already donation enough.

    Another thought regarding #1, is it from BadgeOS core or one of the addons?
