Issues with anchor links and URL

Hi!

We’re noticing issues in which URLs with the “#” symbol is being replaced with “#!#”. For example, https://example.com/sub/#section will be replaced with https://example.com/sub/#!#section.

This issue goes away when we disable the Photo and Video Gallery Plugin. We noticed that this seems to be an identical issue: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/weird-url-behaviour/, but we’re not sure what the fix was.

Could you please provide advice on how to fix this? Right now, none of our anchor links going to specific sections on other pages are working.
