    Hi guys,

I have several issue with shortcodes for best selling products.

Firstly, it seems to count in purchases which have been cancelled / refunded and deleted. In fact it does not deliver the same results as the WooCommerce reports which show the correct order.
This is extremely annoying because it thus counts in all test buys, too.

Secondly, sorting does not work at all (the same for top_rated, only works for on_sale). I suppose, I can make some sense out of this, because best selling and top rated somehow suggest a special sorting inherently. But is this an intended behaviour?

Thanks a lot for you help,

    Markus

    Hi there,

I checked this for you and found an open issue for the best_selling_products shortcode.

Can you check whether the Best Selling Products block work better for you?

To learn more about this, please refer to the “Showcase your products” section at https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-blocks/#section-2.

    Hey @kosiew,

    thanks for the quick feedback!

The bug describes exactly my issue (but does not tackle the sorting question – anyway).

Unfortunately, the Best Selling Products block behaves exactly the same.
    So, no workaround for it.

    Cheers
    Markus

PS: besides that, I need a solution for Elementor, too

I submitted an issue for this.

Please monitor the progress in the Github issue.

Can you post this to Elementor support or Elementor forum?

In the meantime, I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Hey @kosiew,

if the shortcodes work, they will work with Elementor, too.
So no need for a ticket in Elementor support forum because it only can display the correct stuff if the stuff gets retrieved correctly ??

The issue link you posted leads to a 404.
Could you please post the correct link?

    Thx
    Markus
