    Hi!

Thank you for this plugin! I’ve been able to customize it much to what I’d like it to do. For the conditional dropdown values, though, I am running into some issues.

I have 5 taxonomies set up (Events, Teams, Locations, Years, Categories) for a video post archive. When selecting terms from 4 of the 5 taxonomies, the conditional dropdown works and the terms with no relevant posts are disabled.

For some reason, one of the taxonomies, Locations, is not filtering out the terms for the Teams taxonomy, and this is happening for certain terms only (ex. Australia but works fine for USA).

Under BTF settings, I have selected post type “videos”, and excluded “team origins” taxonomy used for a post type named “teams” which is not being used for the filter. I made sure the taxonomy slug is called “abc_team” while the post type is just “team”. Under Advanced settings I’ve checked off everything except “Show term description:” and “Disable the filter info modules post count:”.

Any guidance on how to troubleshoot would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi @temark

    Great to hear!
Always nice to know people make use of this little plugin ??

It’s quite the bug you have going on. Honestly I have no idea what is going on. It bases it’s conditionals on finding the terms in each taxonomy using a custom query but it’s basically just using IDs so shouldn’t be possible to have collisions occur. you can see it yourself in public/class-beautiful-taxonomy-filters-public.php on row 279 (it’s not really pretty but it works).

Could the issue be with child terms? That’s not yet 100% supported.

Probably an issue with the child filters then. I’ve opted for another plugin but this is a nice plugin nonetheless. Thanks for getting back.
