    Hi,

I got the same problem as many other users: after setting up the plugin connection I get information that everything went well (on Facebook side) and “something went wrong” (on woocommerce side). None of the solutions provided on this forum worked for me so far, help would be appreciated.

    Hi @xmelmothx

Can you confirm that you toggled the “Manage your business” option during the connection flow, please?

@dougaitken not the original poster, but your solution worked for me to complete the connection (thanks). Shouldn’t that step really be required so? (otherwise the default outcome is a failed connection).
Can you tell me why the connection needs the “Manage your business” permissions level?

@dougaitken, thanks for the feedback. I will check that later, as I will have to create a separate facebook business account – the one I originally wanted to use is linked with several other, non related Facebook profiles.

Also, same as @colmtroy, I am also eger to know why “manage your business” permission is necessary.

@dougaitken, after toggling “manage your business” option authentication was successful. Thank you.

However, I agree with @colmtroy – this option should be market as required and some explanation is needed, as in case of business accounts with multiple clients, permission to “manage your business” is quite a lot to ask.

    Hi @xmelmothx and @colmtroy

The “manage your business” default permission setting is something controlled on the Facebook side and not something that we have the ability to change/ adjust in our plugin settings.

Thanks for letting us know that toggling that on worked!

I’ll mark this thread as resolved now. If you have any further questions, I recommend creating a new thread.
