Issues with Content Restriction

I’ve recently been trying to restrict sections of content on my site utilising shortcodes within text widgets so that only logged-in users can see these.

After much troubleshooting, this all appears to work correctly if this is done through the WordPress default editor although if I use the Colibri page editor, the content for guest users is only ever displayed even after a user logs in.

I was wondering if there are any suggestions as to how I could rectify this?
