I am having issues with display between IE and Chrome using the Frontier theme (some customisations).

The below is a link to the website

https://www.carerepairrenfrewshire.org.uk/content/ – it displays as expected on Chrome.

On IE, there are various issues – menus overlap on compatibility mode, no background image, and further issues with google translate plugin at the top. There also appears to be a gap between the header logo and the navigation menu.

    Could any help be given?

    Many Thanks

That’s because it’s not meant to be viewed in compatibility mode. Compatibility mode makes IE behave like the older versions of the browser (IE7, IE6, etc…)

There also appears to be a gap between the header logo and the navigation menu.

This has been fixed on later versions. You just needed to add a float:left for the logo img.

It seems that you’re using an old version(1.0.3). You’ve also edited the template files without using a child theme.
