I am using events manager with a multisite installation. When I save a draft, it still shows on my front end calendar. Also, there is a number beside the “events” button implying I have events that need approval or publishing, but these are not showing when I click through to the events pages. I’ve tried reinstalling the plugin through FTP (I can’t lose over 100 events in the database), but no luck. Any ideas?

  • What version of Events Manager and WordPress are you using?

Are you using any custom code to display events on the site?

WordPress 3.9 and Events Manager 5.5.2. No custom code to show events. Just the Events page with the content of only CONTENTS set to show the calendar view.

So far I haven’t been able to replicate this. Is this on the main site or a subsite? Are you using the events list of the calendar? Does the event appear elsewhere on the site (category pages, feeds, etc.)? Thanks.

I can’t replicate it either. I even have the same set up on another multisite installation and have no issues why that one. It is on a sub site. We are using the calendar view of the calendar. We don’t have any other page on the site that are showing events.

I was hoping for a quick fix for this. It’s not a huge deal but it’s something that’s a bit annoying. It’s really not worth anyone putting hours into figuring out though, so we’ll just live with it.

    Thanks.

    Have you tried to temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

I haven’t deactivated plugins yet. Unfortunately this is a multisite install and gets high traffic and the plugins that are installed are pretty needed. I don’t want anything to be out of order for too long, and I haven’t had a chance to work on it during what might be lower traffic hours.

I did try switching to a default theme. That didn’t do the trick.

I see, maybe you can try to replicate your site in a local or dev site so we can narrow down the problem ?
