Issues with Fullpage slider & intergration with theme

  • Hi Julien,

    Thanks for creating a nice plugin. But I have a few issues with creating a Fullpage slider as well as using it with my current theme Nectar Salient. Please see my questions below:

    – The website menu won’t show on Fullpage.

    – When a Fullpage slider has been created, on the Fullpage, everything is shrunk into a post box with post name, date, creator and a grey background etc which I don’t need. How can I remove these?

    – When creating Fullpage slider, I tried to input some short codes in the text box to add in some theme elements like Nectar slider. But it won’t show, although other Nectar elements show eg the button, headlines etc. Maybe the theme is conflicting with Fullpage?

    – Could you please let me know the best way to create a headline and image mixed layout with Fullpage slider/section?

    Thanks for downloading my plugin !!

    First, follow these steps to override the fullpage templates.

    – To add your fullpage a WP navigation menu, you’ll have to insert the menu code to “YOURTHEME/wp-fullpage/layout/header.php” (you’ll be ablke to find this piece of code in “YOURTHEME/header.php”

    – Remove these informations in “YOURTHEME/wp-fullpage/loop/slide.php”

    – Could you give me an access to your website so I can check it ? (contact me for that)

    Hello Julien,
    I am brand new to WP and don’t know much coding. I have tried following your you tube videos on how to create a salient and home slider. After publishing the page and seeing the live preview, no images so up. When I click on preview page, I see the image. I have tried numerous images, got rid of the side bar widgets and have uninstalled and reinstalled WP. I am getting very frustrated and would just like to learn this program. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    When I preview changes, the image the pops up repeats it’s self on the bottom edge. I tried the increase the slider height in the short code, but that only made the header larger. Here is the page url. Hopefully you will be able to view it.
