    Hi there!

Currently, we are experiencing issues with an import of one of our vendors.
This specific vendor has products that have 2 variation each
(Pillow case and pillow case with filling).

First issue: When we import their products to our marketplace, first of all, all the variations are ‘disabled’by default and we need to enable each variation of each product manually.
Does anyone know why this might be happening?

    Second issue:
When the products are imported (as published but private), the vendor is able to see the stock of each product in their dashboard.
As soon as we publish the products publically, the stock dissapears and will not re-appear when set back to hidden, it is gone for good.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

    ANy help is much appreciated!

    Kind regards,
    Crindel

For the second issue, we found out that in our main shop menu, we did not set stock managment correctly, so this issue is solved!

    Hello,

all the variations are ‘disabled’by default and we need to enable each variation of each product manually.

In your variations CSV file, make sure to set 1 for Published.

Are you using a multi-vendor plugin? Does this happen when you have all plugins disabled except WooCommerce and the Storefront(default) theme is activated?
As this may be a conflict issue with your theme or another plugin, you’ll first want to do a full conflict test: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

If you don’t want to test on your live site, you can create a staging site using a plugin called?WP Staging: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/

    Thank you @maykato

Do I just need to set the Variations to “1” or also the parent product?
I ask this because when we import, I do not want the products to be visible to the shop visitors straight away. This is why I set them as “0” ( both parent and variations).

So, should I set parent to “0”and variations to “1”?
Will this solve the issue I am having?

For the Stock, I added a post just a few minutes before you replied stating we have solved this.
It was caused by a wrong setting in our “main” shop stock settings.

    Thanks!

    Hi @crindel,

I do not want the products to be visible to the shop visitors straight away

In this case, set the parent to 0 and the variations to 1. The variations will be enabled but the parent variable product will have the visibility set to Private thus will not be visible in the shop.

    Hope this helps.
