Issues with latest upgrade

  • I just auto upgraded to latest version of WordPress and i have the following issues:

    1. On Edit page screen when i click on Edit link for below nothing happens. This was working fine right before the upgrade. Preview changes button is working ok.
    Status: Published Edit
    Visibility: Public Edit

    2. I have CKEditor for WordPress installed and when it is active i cannot see contents of my page in Visual or Text tabs. When i turn CKEditor off then i can see contents.

    3. Should i be worried about other plugins not working properly after upgrade?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    is being caused by WP Sales Engine plug in. I am using it extensively throughout my site but their support site is down… ??

    CKEditor issue is resolved.

    That plugin is not listed here also so they would be your point of support.

    It’s not ‘down’ btw, it no longer exists. You will need to remove it and find another method to do whatever it did…

    it’s best not to rely on such plugins for anything major on your site.

    Unfortunately at the time my site was originally build the plug in was supported and highly recommended. About 90% of my site is using that plug in for its design.
