Issues with latest woocommerce plugin

    I have the latest woocommerce plugin installed on my website and after installing, my website keeps breaking and shows the following error

    I have tried all i know and can do to get this to work but to know avail from downgrading wordpress to upgrading to the latest php version.

    I get the following error below:

    Please test the following on a staging site:

    > PHP version 5.6.40

    We recommend minimum version 7.2 or greater.

    > WordPress version 5.4.2

    Can you try updating to 5.5?

    A staging site would be a good idea. If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/ for quickly spinning up a new test site.

    Thanks for your response. When you say Can you try updating to 5.5?” are you talking about wordpress version?

    because i have already updated to that version and still had the issues and decided to downgrade the wordpress version

    it keeps giving this error even when i tested it in a staging area

    Hi there,

    Have you already ensured you are using PHP version 7.2 or greater?

    Im having the same problem. I have to run wordpress in recovery mode due to this woocommerce error and cant make back up files. I need backup files to run a staging site to test PHP 7.2 to see if that’s the problem
