• Hi, I was trying to restore my site using this guide.

I get to item 3 and click the ‘Restore’ button for the backup set that you want to restore (under the ‘Actions’ column).

However the pop-up doesn’t appear with a list of options to restore. Instead, I get redirected to the site which I wish to restore admin dashboard.

My back-ups are all correctly in my Google Drive, and I can see them all in the MainWP dashboard under the UpdraftPlus extension. First time I’m needing a restore and its not going as advertised.

    Any help appreciated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    Apologies for the confusion.

The guide has the older interface of the backup. It has actually changed now.
There is no longer a pop-up window but instead just a progress page where you get to select the components that you wish to restore.

Please can you send a screenshot of the part that you are stuck in?

    Regards,

    Hi Bryle,

Here is a video of what’s happening anytime I select any database, theme, plugin, etc to restore and click the “restore” button. It sends me to the admin panel of my website. If I am not logged into admin it just sends me to the website.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the video!

Have you already tried deactivating all the other plugins? It is possible that another plugin is causing conflict with UpdraftPlus.

    apologies for the late reply.

Yes I did disable all the plugins though there are very few as this is my MainWP dashboard and not a public site, I also cleared all the caches.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

Are you still having the same issue?
Can I ask for a copy of the restoration log please?
You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via FTP.
Please copy the contents into an online tool (such as https://pastebin.com/ ) and post the link here.

    Have a nice day!

Yes I am having the same issue. I cannot see any “restoration log” in the folder you described unless it is labeled a different way.
