• Hello I hope someone can help me. I had a free blog at wordpress.com, but bought my own domain name. I realized that id have more freedom with www.ads-software.com., so I set up everything with godaddy, transfered my domain with godaddy, and set up a .org account. After finally getting into the Dashboard for the .org, I tried to install the graphene theme, and now my page wont come up at all! (www.ablushingbeauty.com) here is what it says…

Warning: require(/home/content/60/10334160/html/wp-content/themes/graphene/admin/options-init.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/60/10334160/html/wp-content/themes/graphene/functions.php on line 24

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/content/60/10334160/html/wp-content/themes/graphene/admin/options-init.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5_3/lib/php’) in /home/content/60/10334160/html/wp-content/themes/graphene/functions.php on line 24

I am new to all this high-tech stuff… I uploaded the theme to my godaddy FTP file account.. is that wrong??
Also, it asks me if i want to work on https://www.ablushingbeauty.com or https://www.ablushingbeauty.com/wordpress? Help!
    Thanks in advance!

  • Where did you install WordPress on your domain?

It looks like the site you referenced is pulling up with the theme you installed. I’m not getting the same errors. Were you able to get this resolved already?

If you’re still seeing those errors, I’d like to have our hosting team take a look for you. Let me know if you still can’t load the site.

yes it looks as if it works now! yay! Except i still need to make it easier to change things, it says to add the child theme? Would the child setting make it easier to change fonts, colors etc?
    thanks!

I believe i downloaded wordpress, then saved it into another file on my desktop? I uploaded it to godaddy after that. I am still confused as to how exactly, I change fonts, colors, and so on… Im a little lost. ??

Would the child setting make it easier to change fonts, colors etc?

No but a child theme would protect your changes from being over-written by a later upgrade and would strop you from otherwise “bodging” the default WP theme. Having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues.
