So, I’m running a site which I was updating today, after moving to WordPress 4.9 the editor was ok at the styles.css but now after trying to modify some code in my child theme I was not able since the editor shows an empty code, I login into my FTP account and check if the code was actually there and it was, I changed it manually and tried again with the editor but was not able to see any code…

This happens to me only in sub-directories in the child theme, for example:
    Mytheme-child
    -styles.css – Ok
    -functions.php – Ok
    -includes (dir)
–content-single.php – Error, no code in editor

    No error_log also

    Everything is up to date…

Application data was deleted (cache, cookies, re-login)…

Also, the cache in the server side is deleted, flushed everything in plugins…

Already tried with Chrome, Opera (Neon), Firefox (57/Quantum), Edge…

Already deactivated all the plugins and the issue still there…

And already checked the “known issues”…

And I did all of this before posting this issue, so I don’t know why I need to read that post again. Maybe is just my issue but I already tried everything and the issue still there so I wanted some help if someone knows maybe what is happening.
