    Hi,

    We are interested in using the Code Profile Pro plugin, but before purchasing the pro version, we have been testing the free version on our staging environment (https://staging.thnx.eu/).

    Within the plugin settings, we have encountered three options for profile generation: website frontend, Custom post/URL, and admin backend. We have experimented with all three options, however, each attempt resulted in the same error: “The HTTP server returned the following error: 504 Gateway Time-out”. We attempted to mitigate this issue by selecting lower Accuracy and Precision levels in the Settings page, but the error persisted.

    Even when we set the accuracy and precision to the lowest levels, the error remained consistent.

    Despite numerous attempts, we managed to generate the profile for the homepage on occasion, but the process is unreliable. Sometimes, we encounter the following error: “Cannot connect to the requested page: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 300000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received.”

    The profile generation process is excessively time-consuming, and as a result, we find the plugin unsuitable for our needs.

    Could you please provide us with more details regarding the issues we are encountering? We are eager to purchase the pro version, but it is imperative that the plugin functions correctly before we proceed with the purchase.

    The HTTP server timeout is too low: it doesn’t wait for the PHP interpreter to finish running the script. You need to increase it. If you’re running Nginx, see this article. If you’re using Apache, check its documentation.
