Issues with Theme updates (Divi)

    This plug-in works great for plug-in installs.

    However, when I try to update a theme (Divi theme) is just says updating eternally. If I click on the theme details, and click UPDATE on there, a message comes back saying it’s already on the latest version (even though it is not).
    I had to disable Shiny Updates in order to update the Divi theme.

    Thanks for your report!

    We definitely need to ensure the experience for updating third-party themes and plugins doesn’t get worse.

    I will look into that soon-ish so you’ll be able to update these without a hassle (and with shiny updates installed!).

    I haven’t encountered any problems with updating plugins or themes using a third-party updates API (and I can’t think of a reason why there should be).

    If this still happens for you using the latest version of Shiny Updates, please let us know. If possible, provide additional details like theme version, browser, screenshots, JavaScript errors (press F12 to see them), etc.
