The video popup doesn’t open up on my website properly. It is supposed to open up in the center, but when I click on a video, all I see is a small window at the top of the page. Please take a look at the screenshot of the issue here: https://imgur.com/a/Do6x0xx

  • Hello,

I visited the site you linked and found a gallery of videos. Generally, the Video Popup only allows one video. How did you add several videos? Did this work in the past?

Hello, It only allows one video per page? That doesn’t sound right. What would stop it from working if there are several videos on a page?

It did work in the past and it still works if you view the website without caching (?nocache). There is probably some sort of conflict with a caching plugin (WP rocket) I am using but I can’t really find the real culprit or a way to fix it.

    Hi @freakkajla,

Apologies for the delay. You should be able to add multiple video pop-up blocks to a page, but only one video per pop-up block. Have you tried this?

    Kindly,

    Hannah

    Hi @hannahritner,

I have only one video per pop-up block. That’s not the problem.

The problem is that the video popup doesn’t open up on my website properly. It is supposed to open up in the center, but when I click on a video, all I see is a small window at the top of the page. Please take a look at the screenshot of the issue here:?https://imgur.com/a/Do6x0xx

When I clear my cache, it works the way it is supposed to for a few minutes and then it starts acting up again.

    Hi, @freakkajla !

I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

When I view your website on Chrome and Firefox browsers, the Video Popups are showing correctly – https://share.getcloudapp.com/6qubNENL

I saw that you’re WP Rocket but the Kadence Blocks and its Pro add-on’s CSS and JS files aren’t combined to other files. Typically, minifying and combining all CSS and JS files lead to layout issues.

Could you confirm if you still see the issue? If so, could you try adjusting your optimization settings? WP Rocket has a guide here – https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1291-find-the-best-settings-for-your-site.

I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further. If you need help with pro/premium products, please submit a ticket on this page.

    Kind regards,

    Hi @karlalevelup

In WP Rocket, I changed “Remove unused CSS” to “Load CSS asynchronously,” and that fixed the issue. I wanted to keep using “Remove unused CSS” since my website performed way better with it turned on, but due to issues with the video popup, I had to choose “Load CSS asynchronously”.

I can go back and turn on “Remove unused CSS” if you wish to see the issue and what’s causing it.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi there!

Since this is an option from another plugin, we cannot control how the result of the option will be.

If you do not want to disable that totally, you can exclude specific CSS files from being affected. Read their post here – https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1529-remove-unused-css#css-safelist.

Let us know if we can help you further.

    Regards,
    Karla
