    Hi there,
I have some questions regarding Masterstudy and Woocommerce integration.

    1) I would like that customers who are not buying an LMS product but, say, a physical product wouldn’t be forced to create a user account. Is this possible?

    2) I am confused about the process of creating a user account — if a person creates an account when buying an LMS course, the process is different from when someone is buying a Woocommerce product. There are two different dashboards, different login forms, and different emails sent out. It would be nice to have a more streamlined user experience.

    3) The LMS password reset link directs the user to a WordPress login form. This doesn’t look very professional, and I would rather have the page represent my brand, not WordPress.

    Hello, @izgaisdriznaks

    1. To allow users to purchase the products without login/registration, you need to enable the Guest Checkout option in MS LMS general settings – https://joxi.ru/J2b0qdWHqpEwMr, and also correctly set the Guest Checkout option of the Woocommerce plugin.

For more information, please check our documentation – https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/masterstudy-lms/woocommerce/woocommerce-integration#guest-checkout.

    2. Since the Masterstudy LMS and Woocommerce are different plugins and have different login/registration modules, there is no option to use the LMS login/registration module for Woocommerce products.

    3. The reset password is a native WordPress function, and the plugin options and settings do not control this function.

We appreciate all of your suggestions and will take them into account to improve our products and service.

    Best regards

    Hello,
Thanks for your reply. I’ve tested your suggestions, and here are my findings:

    1. This solution doesn’t work because users who are buying LMS products won’t be required to create an account either and therefore won’t be able to access their course after purchase.

    2. I see

    3. It would be nice if there was a dedicated password reset page in the future (for example, Woocommerce has one) because the WordPress login form doesn’t look professional.

    *Update*

In case anyone finds this useful, I’ve figured out that if I disable the guest checkout on the Masterstudy plugin, but enable it on Woocommerce, it actually works. Now, if someone is buying an LMS course, they are required to create an account before checking out, but Woocommerce products can be purchased without creating an account.

    Hello @izgaisdriznaks,

I am glad that you solved the issue with WooCoommerce checkout.

The password reset progress will be held in the login/register form of the LMS. it seems there was a misunderstanding in previous replays. If the reset link is redirecting to the Worpress login form, make sure that you are not using third-party plugins that have a redirect option. To find conflicting plugin you can disable third-party plugins temporarily.
