• First, I want to say good job on designing a proper security system. It’s rare that people think anymore, but your team actually took the time to implement a feature to re-insert .htaccess security from before the plugin was deactivated.

The trouble with the plugin is that when you use Jetpack’s “Publicize” feature, you need to disable the security plugin in order to connect new accounts. It’s a minor setback, but it’s something you should look into. The feature only requires the security plugin to be disabled for the connection portion, not the actual publicization.

Hi Rick Mac gillis thank you for pointing out that issue. One of the plugin developers will assess your suggestion further.

    Kind regards
