It breaks your site

  • I took a back up and I chooses google drive to store it, when I restored the last back up during the process I got a message that some uploaded files can not restore, when the restore process finished I lost all images from my website, all links was broken between media and pages, I tried to contact with support but there is no email or live chat and when I wanted to write them in support form I couldn’t send message to ask help because I didn’t purchase the plugin, therefore if you want to install free version and then you encounter to any issue you have no chance to solve your problem. I highly recommend you that don’t trust this plugin.

  • I had similar issues. Backup to google drive but when I try to restore after a failed wp update that lost the site, updraft doesn’t have the database files in any of my backups. I PM’d them in Twitter and was told to come here and report. So far no luck.

    It sounds like you were trying to use the ticket system at updraftplus.com for paying customers? If you’re using the free version, then there’s free support available at www.ads-software.com here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/updraftplus/

    thanks for reply, Ok you have a support for free version but it is difficult to find it, I spent much time to find but I couldn’t. please be informed support is important when you need help but I installed your plugin in case of emergency to help me, how come a plugin must help people break the pages I didn’t expect that this plugin damage my website while I installed it to help me, the most important things is this issue not free support, why you didn’t mention about this problem that your plugin damaged a website?
