It deletes Drafts and Trash posts

  • Unfortunately I learned in the worse way that this plugin deletes not only auto drafts but also drafts (waiting for revision, for example) and trash post (that can be trashed accidentally) and this, for a magazine’s site it’s terrible and crazy.
    The plugin itself is great, I used it in all my sites, until now.
    Now that I’m aware of this bug (it’s not a feature, it’s a bug), I deleted everywhere.
    Be careful to use it, at least until developers add the feature that, I read now in this forum, allow to select which elements have to be cleaned on scheduled cleaning or optimization.

    Dear Macltaly,

    Indeed, scheduling an automatic clean-up will delete all categories of elements shown in the first page of the plugin. That is why I’m working to add a customizable schedule in which you will be able to specify that you want to clean-up auto-draft but not draft…

    Hi Younes,
    please do, as I love this plugin but this feature is more then required.
    A draft content isn’t necessarily a garbage, more likely it is a postponed work.
    Also, as you are working on this matter, I advice to put an option that can choice limits for Auto Drafts too, because if schedule performs while you are writing a post, you understand that also this is can be a damage. (may be a minimum number of autodrafts to maintain and/or an option to delete autodrafts older than…?)

    Has this been fixed yet? I was just about to buy the pro version this plug-in, but this issue is a deal-breaker for me.
