It disables Visual Editor

  • By “Visual Editor” I suppose you mean this [1]. I just installed a fresh WordPress in an empty server with the standard software and procedure, installed the latest version of the Sucuri plugin, and applied the hardening over the “wp-includes” directory and the “Visual Editor” keeps working as normal.

    Can you provide more information about your server environment so I can reproduce the issue here and investigate it to find a solution?
