• It does a great job of removing unused CSS on a website. This is especially useful when one uses a page builder and many plugins that all bloat up CSS.

However it is tricky to setup. It removed quite a bit of CSS that was used by elements that were only shown with javascript and it also removed one or two rules where I have no idea why. I was able to fix these issues with the safelist selectors and custom css you can enter on the admin page.

For us it made a noticeable difference in the page Speed ratings on google however not so much as other easier optimizations (for example images). And I am quite happy with the job it does now. Given how complex the task is it tries to perform I believe it works reasonable well and I don’t think a zero configuration solution will ever exist. However for many customers I assume the result will not be worth the effort.

The support was fast and helpful.

Thank you for your thorough review. True that RapidLoad cannot get the elements which are shown by Javascript. You can always add safelist rules and turn on “Load original CSS” option to bypass it.
