Generally, when something fails, an error is emailed to the site Admin.

According to your screenshots, a backup file was created an is 183MB in size.

Can you elaborate more on why you think the backup is blank?

If it’s blank when you’re trying to open the zip on your desktop, can you try using https://www.7-zip.org/ and let us know if that helps.

I’m seeing two issues:

1. The download link that is being generated is not working. Instead of downloading a 183MB file, it’s downloading a 0MB file.

2. The Download to local machine link (https://prnt.sc/pvz1w9) is not working and is resulting in an error.

Because both of these errors are occurring, my initial guess is that there is another plugin you’re running that is conflicting with the download technique. To troubleshoot this further, we would need a list of the plugins that you’re running. Could you provide us with your Site Info please? Hi @vvalladolid, thanks for sharing that information!

In your list of plugins I see a few related to backups/migrations and security, one of those could be interfering with the backup generation process. You also have multiple page building and caching plugins as well which might be creating some additional conflicts that are disrupting backup creation.

Try temporarily disabling those and generating a new backup to see if that fixes the problem.

Hi @vvalladolid, I wanted to touch base and find out if you’ve by chance had any luck troubleshooting this issue? I’m thinking it’s another plugin conflicting with the BoldGrid Backup plugin, but because you have 80+ plugins, it is hard for us to troubleshoot on our end.

If you were able to pinpoint which plugin was conflicting with the BoldGrid Backup plugin, I’m sure that we could continue the troubleshooting on our end and release a patch to resolve the issue.
