It doesn’t even deserve 1 star

  • This plugin just takes up time and you are dancing with a tambourine. It does not work normally, does not create backups for a medium-sized site. Maybe it does something for a clean version of wordpress, but not for a medium-sized online store. I looked at the support responses, people are dealing with the same backup abort issues. No changes change the situation. We have a fairly powerful server, where even importing and exporting products of 50,000 items happens without problems, but this plugin made me just waste my time.

    There are many factors that could cause the backup to fail. We would love to find out what is causing the issue. Please do post a support request and include a copy of the backup log – https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/updraftplus/

    Waste of time, all they do with these responses is try and do damage control. The truth is coming out as more people are taking the time to expose the scam, lies and false advertizing used by Updraft. Beware and look elsewhere for a back up solution this is a serious money pit for newbies, who will only learn when they lose their WP install and waste their time.
