It doesn't work…!

Same here. Using free version, but settings are [ON] to show on posts or pages, nothing. Tried the shortcode provided. Same. Is there a trick somewhere ?

Not sure if you mean “No star rating showing in search” or “No Rating Box is not showing on the post”.

If the star rating is not showing on Google search results, then maybe you need to wait more time till Google re-index your post. (The plugin adds valid markup, you can test it in Google Rich Snippets Test Tool, but showing the rating star in search results is up to Google, I don’t have control over that).

If the Rating Box is not showing on the post, make sure you have set a rating in the review meta box, that’s all I can think of if I can’t see your settings or at least a link to your site.

It is neither of these issues.

The issue is that NOTHING is avialbale when the plugin is installed and activated.

There is no review meta box on the post. There is no way of showing that meta box. There are no settings available.

In other words, the plugin is apparently installed and activated as it appears in the plugins list, but there is nothing to show for it anywhere. It is completely invisible.

The plugin works on several sites, there must be something blocking or conflicting with it on your site.

I can’t be much help without investigating your site!

But you can do a simple check to find out or narrow possibilities:

1- Deactivate all plugins, and switch to the default theme.
2- activate only the Author hReview plugin (make sure it’s working, and it actually should)
3- activate your theme ( check if the plugin is working, if not, then tell me what theme you are using)
4- activate all other plugins one by one, and check your site each time till you find the one that conflicts with Author hReview, and tell me which plugin.
