• The only problem with this plugin is that it doesn’t work. Tried with Opera, Edge and Chrome WooCommerce 4.8.0, WordPress 5.6. On product checkout nothing happens. I have no idea why that is. Added merchant ID and the other settings, which are not many, so you can’t really screw this up. I noticed that someone else had the same problem, so if the review doesn’t show up for so many reasons than it’s loses it’s purpose.

    Hi @zedjames

I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems with the plugin. We have troubleshooting steps detailed in the plugin FAQ, which I have outlined below:

When you first set up the plugin, your Review Badge and Opt-In Survey may not show straight away due to JavaScript caching. Try clearing your browser cache first. If that doesn’t work, please check the following:
    – You have entered your Google Merchant ID correctly in the plugin settings
    – You have enabled the Review Badge and Opt-In Survey in the plugin settings
    – The website you are using the plugin on matches the website in your Google Merchant Center settings and is verified in your Google Merchant Center: https://merchants.google.com/mc/settings/website
    – You don’t have a script blocker on your website or browser. If you do, you will need to allow the Google Merchant Center script to run

You also need to have Google Customer Reviews enabled on your Google Merchant Center account.

The code that the plugin uses is the exact code that is provided by Google. I can assure you that it does work, as we run this plugin on many production sites ourselves. The most common issue with the survey request not showing is down to browser cache, so I would recommend trying on another computer, and also ensuring that everything is enabled and verified in your Google Merchant Center account.

Thanks for the reply. Basically everything you said there was done. I am not sure about the “Google Customer Reviews enabled” thing. I couldn’t find that exact thing you mentioned, but here is an image that explains better what I did here:

@zedjames Can I just check that you’ve followed the steps in this link to enable Google Customer Reviews on your Google Merchant Center account? https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7124018?visit_id=637439096699828908-2875886619&ref_topic=7105048&rd=1

Thank you for your answer, it doesn’t let me to enable it. I have a get started option, maybe that’s the problem. I will look into that until than I will change the review and get back when I figured it out.

@zedjames When you have enabled it on your Google Merchant account, and your website has been verified by Google, it can take a little while before the survey request popup shows. This is down to Google and would happen regardless of which plugin you use, or if you added the Google code yourself. Again, you’ll probably need to clear cache / try on another device initially too.

If you have any problems at all, come back here and I’ll be more than happy to help.
