• We are using Canvas by WooThemes.

We have a site with a few products in WooCommerce, some pages, and a Blog. We want the search feature to search ALL these areas.

I installed the search everything plugin, and left it configured in the default manner. Your “live search” within the setup page DOES work. When I search for a blog topic, it displays a bunch of posts related to that topic.

However, when I go to the website itself and use the search that is in our primary navigation — it does not work, i.e., it does NOT return any blog posts. It still works the same way it did BEFORE we installed your plugin. What are we missing? Is there some shortcode for your search box? We’d like the search to be in our primary navigation.

    Here is our site https://www.otionsoap.com

Try doing a search for “father’s day”. Within your plugin setup page, many, many blog posts are returned, but from the search on the site —- nothing.

    Help! What to do?

    Thank you!

  • Hey yukon4,

thanks for reaching out – I’ll gladly help!
Would you please try and tick some other options (or all of them) in the plugin settings and see if that changes anything? Also, a list of your other plugins would help a lot. Finally, just to make sure that the theme is not interfering with the plugin, try to change it, for example to “Twenty Fourteen”.

    Looking forward to your reply,
    Petra
