For your information, the quantity-based unit price is calculated based on the quanitty of the main product, not the variations or subproducts inside.
When you configure the pricing set for a category or tag, it doesn’t mean buyers can choose some of each item under that category or tag to enjoy the new quantity-based prices. The quantity-based unit price only applies to the main product on their single product page.
If you meant you would like the unit price should be changed when choosing the quantity of subproducts in your smart grouped, unfortunately, that was not how our plugin supposed to work.
If you are looking to change the prices when customers choose, for example 10 units of product A, B, C in any order in the category 1, you might want to use a dynamic pricing or discount rules plugin instead.
