Haven’t tested the plugin with version 8.1 yet so I couldn’t really say. An easy way to find out would be to downgrade to version 8.0 for a moment (which I know it works for sure with the plugin) and see whether the plugin starts tracking visits again.
If the plugin starts tracking visits after downgrading to 8.0 then there’s likely an issue with 8.1 that I need to look into. In that case if you could provide more details (like error logs for example, see WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG) so that I can help.
If the plugin still can’t track any visits after downgrading to PHP 8.0 then your problem is being caused by something else. Following the troubleshooting instructions may help help you figure out what’s wrong.
