It just doesn’t work

    Installed the plugin to limit the number of spam comments I get on my website.
    Supposed to work out of the box, right?
    It doesn’t. Tried with recaptcha v2 and v3. Always same error when posting a comment “please solve the captcha correctly”. It was correctly solved, since I passed the google test!
    I checked the support forum, saw that many people have the same issue, but the author hasn’t replied for 3 months. Uninstalled.
