It just worked

  • After using the import/export tool to “export all” my images still didn’t copy over. I’m using 3.9.1 on the old site, and 4.0 on the new, so maybe that was part of the problem, though really I think that the ‘official’ tool needs some work as this issue has existed for YEARS.

    Regardless, this little plug-in fixed it for me in minutes.
