    Hi @marcussatherstrom

Not sure why you are having issues with this theme. It should be working out of the box with the default settings.

    See demo for GeneratePress theme.

Could you perhaps share details on what changes you have made to the theme?

    Sébastien.

    Thanks for quick reply!

I have not really done any changed to the theme it self.

Just using WP Show Posts to show different posts on different authors pages.. But that should not be a problem?
And also i use a plugin to have different sidebars on different authors feed.

Works so good in your demo! That’s exact how I want it to work. I would want to have ads between the posts as you have with the boxes.

Maybe I have to delete some plugins and start over..

I have deactivated all other plugins that could be a problem.. still wont work!
I’m starting to get sick of this haha..

Do I have to disable like header, sidebar etc in the blog-post? Should I write the posts in Sections?

Does the header need to be in a Element?

Could any of that be a problem?

It looks like the theme has been modified using the action hooks the theme offers. Are you perhaps using a child-theme?

    Thread Starter marcussatherstrom

    (@marcussatherstrom)

I’m using the one in here https://generatepress.com/site-library/ called “Blogg”. Will that create a child-theme and mess things up?

I tried the plugin at another Generatpress site I have and I get the same problem… Super weird..

Can you provide me with a list of your active plugins and the steps to reproduce the look of your site or content?

Are you also using GeneratePress Premium?

    Thread Starter marcussatherstrom

    (@marcussatherstrom)

    Yes I use GeneratePress Premium.
What do you mean with reproduce the look of the site? I have “installed” the look from the SiteLibrary of GeneratePress that’s called Blogg. Then I have built the home page in Elementor.

There is not really any content on the site right now. A few pages with no content and the Demo-posts that you can find here https://blogg.mammasanningar.se/blogg/

    These are active now:
    Elementor
    GP Premium
    Really Simple SSL

These have I deactivated a few days ago:
    Akismet Anti-Spam
    Autoptimize
    Capability Manager Enhanced
    Content Aware Sidebars
    Duplicate Post
    Head, Footer and Post Injections
    Lightweight Grid Columns
    Loopia WordPress Plugin
    Smush
    Wordfence Security
    WP Show Posts
    WP Super Cache

Ah, I think I know what is wrong. You have a permalink issue. I’m guessing you recently updated my plugin to the latest version from v1.4

Changes have been made in v1.5 so you will need to follow this guide.

If that does not work then you have a redirect issue caused by another plugin or a code snippet you maybe unaware of.

    Thread Starter marcussatherstrom

    (@marcussatherstrom)

    Ok..

I have just installed you plug-in so that could have been the problem maybe.

Sorry I don’t understand the guide at all.. should I just go and save in the permalink settings?

Where do i find the content-partial.php file? Can’t seem to find it..

    Thread Starter marcussatherstrom

    (@marcussatherstrom)

It seems to work now when I changed the permalinks to just /%postname%/

I had the permalink like this before: /%author%/%postname%/ so you can see who the author of every post is. Maybe that wont work then..

    Seems to be working now.
