Is this a photostream that you could share the URl with me for, or could you make a test stream on the same iCloud account with some dummy photos/videos that exhibits the same issue for me to test with?

This morning the stream did show up normally. Not a clue why… Maybe it was a cache problem.

Interesting. Was the stream empty, by chance?

Yes, at first, but that gave another message (don’t know which anymore). After having added 2 photos the message came that the URL was incorrect.

    Hmm,

It sounds like, perhaps, your server is having intermittent troubles communicating with apple (high latency, packet loss, or low bandwidth). Obviously I have no way of directly verifying this, with access to neither the server or the stream. What suggests this to me is that it does work on and off…

Another possibility would be a low PHP and or network timeout configured on the server… Either of which would cuse work to be cut arbitrarily short under the right conditions…

It’s working fine now. I’ll keep you posted next time I add a stream and it doesn’t work.

    Hi apokalyptik

I was looking forward to getting the plugin run as I want to share a number of iPhoto streams on my blog. However, I cannot get it to work properly:

    • videos are upload; every video creates its own post
    • photo upload seems to work as it shows a progress bar, e.g. importing 28 galleries with 88 pictures…
    • posts are created (but not 28 just 6) -> each picture is one gallery (?), but no images show up

Why do I need one gallery post for each picture? A gallery for me means a set of pictures… Maybe the videos are blocking the stills to upload properly?

    Any idea?

Thanks for any hint and support.

    Regards, J.

    J,

When you publish photos to your photostream you can publish multiple photos at a time (by selecting a bunch, and then sending them to your stream) When you do this you can give the photo, or photos as a group a title, and a description.

The plugin considers this a gallery. Whether you share a single photo, or you share a hundred photos to your stream that single act of sharing is one gallery, and everything shared in that one action will be included in that one gallery.

    Hope this explanation helps.

    Cheers!
    DK

    Hi

Hmmh, so as soon as I add a new photo to a single photo stream I create a new gallery? Does not sound very sensible to me (sorry, don’t want to offend you). For me it should be photo stream = gallery.

However, I tried to import another photo stream without videos but none of the pictures were added to a post – though the import process showed only one gallery with 28 pictures. The post just said there are now items to show…

My media library remains empty as well.

By the way, I am on WordPress 3.9.1

    Any idea?

    Thanks, J
