  • The new block editor made me feel stupid. It made me hate updating my blog or thinking about creating a new post because that simple thing became something that was fraught with anxiety and took so much longer.

    I gave it a chance thinking that I’m just very slow and stupid, so I need to get used to it. That never happened. I realise now that I’m a stupid person because I continued struggling to use it.

    IMO the whole point of this big update is to let all the users know that the techies who created this block editor are very very smart, and anyone who does not appreciate how good this editor is totally stupid. So congratulations.

    TLDR I admit to the tech gods who created the block editor that I am stupid and have now installed Classic Editor, and things are SO MUCH BETTER!

  • Agreed, it made us feel the same until we got rid of it after a few minutes of using it.

    Wait until the classic editor gets fully deprecated ?? You’ll then see what frustration is when you need to manually move each post and page to the new editor.
