• It reduced my media size with ~15% which doesn’t seem a big deal. Really? Now multiply that by 300k websites then by 365 days then by the avg. number of visitors these websites have. Note that every bit of data means (el) energy (not mention time) lost both by the visitor and by the website’s hosting server. Do the math and then, only then you will really understand why WP Smush makes the difference.
    I give 5 stars for that!

    Now just think about it for one second: these 4TB saved would be moved up and down by millions internauts every day. This is a flow of exa-bytes magnitude. Daily! Now multiply that by 365 :-))

    I am quite sure you didn’t thought about that when started writing the first line of the pluing’s code, right?
