My websites are simple and I’m not doing commerce on them. HostGator has free SSL certificates included with hosting packages, but for whatever reason my websites weren’t showing they’re secure. In WordPress, I installed the Really Simple SSL plugin and activated it. Logged out then logged back in, and Voilà! My websites begin with https now. Thank you Really Simple SSL!
