It remove all files after restore

    Hi there,

    With the manual extraction, it removes all files in the installation folder in step2 and gives this error:

    Fatal error on WordPress login tests!

    SCRIPT FILE TEST: C:/xampp/htdocs/dehkadeh2//wp-login.php

    EXCEPTION test script file C:/xampp/htdocs/new//wp-login.php doesn’t exist
    FILE: C:\xampp\htdocs\new\wp-content\wp_test_script_c29e16c-05193058.php[119]

    I am using php 7.4

    Hi @dehkadehwp, what do you mean with “all files”? Duplicator only removes the installer related files and leaves the extracted files. What is currently in the root folder? Is the website accessible? Have you tried to navigate to the login screen manually?

    It removes all files in wp-admin and wp-include and wp-content and make them empty and also removes all other wordpress files except wp-config.php.

    It cause in manual extraction method but extract by duplicator working fine.

    I tested it in a folder in xampp. xampp/htdocs/new

    @dehkadehwp what about the website, is it running after the installation? Have you tried to access the WordPress admin by entering the login address manually?

    Certainly no, because duplicator remove all files. I create package with the newest version 1.5.5 and try it multiple. Do you tested it with the manual extraction method?

    I tested it with latest version of wordpress and duplicator on PHP 7.4 on xampp. It is not online. Did you tested it yourself with manual extraction?

    Yes, we test the manual extraction on the latest WordPress version and PHP 7.4.

    Please make sure that you disable the checkbox “Auto delete installer files after login to secure site (recommended)”
