It says forever "SSL connect error" Why?

I’m trying to fire your plug-in on our blog. All necessary configurations are made carefully, I double and triple checked them, but plug-in still don’t want to work. After I save all setting it says “Your Bigcommerce API settings are not configured properly.
SSL connect error”
I don’t know why. I just updated your plug-in and hoped that It will work, but with no success.
