It seems Super Cache broke the website

  • The only good news is that on this computer I am still logged in so I can get to ADMIN. This happened Friday night. Been trying to fix it now for 3 days. Cannot login on other computers. I have no back ups. Not sure how it happened but I think it had something to do with a prompt at the top of the WP ADMIN page when I clicked MINIFY or something.
    What happened first was a long list ERROR messages of all my plugins that said:

    The plugin adsense-now-lite/adsense-now-lite.php has been deactivated due to an error: The plugin does not have a valid header.

    Could not reinstall them without first FTP deleting them in FTP. I did that once, they came back but with my setting which seemed odd. I activated them, they worked, and then the event happened again. I have tried another theme, I have tried renaming /PLUGINS. I also have tired deactivating, deleting and FTP deleting SUPER CACHE and it makes no difference.

    Here are some of the errors that constantly come up. Also I notice in a few PHP files a block of about 40 lines of machine code at top that I never noticed before.

    Warning! WP Super Cache caching was broken but has been fixed! The script advanced-cache.php could not load wp-cache-phase1.php.

The file /home/rackjite/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php has been recreated and WPCACHEHOME fixed in your wp-config.php. Reload to hide this message.

  • if thats your error log… it’s not supercache that broke your site but the other plugin that you are using. in fact it broke supercache and not the other way adround
