    Hi there

I don’t know what’s happening but for me, on all my websites Simple History stopped working.

It barely shows changes and on the homepage widget I don’t see anything. If I go to the simple history page, I only see the events of today and that’s not even a 1/10th of it…

    Re-installing didn’t help…

What can I do to fix this? Is something wrong with the Dutch translation or did something else break?

Something is broken with updating it seems… As a troubleshooting step, I tried to downgrade to a previous version and it gave this error:

So, I deleted everything even from the database and reinstalled the plugin and it seems to work… I’ll keep an eye on it. It’s strange since this plugin usually never has issues with updates.

Yeah, the “nuke” option seems to work. (Deactivate, delete, check DB/server for stragglers, reinstall) Shall I create a GitHub issue about this or is this enough for you to follow up?

Hopefully this is an oddity but it looks like the same bug happened on 10 of my websites and all give the same error…

Thanks for reporting this. I just checked the zip file for the latest version and the file inc/class-autoloader.php is there. So not sure at all how it can be missing for your sites. Is all your sites on the same server or do they share anything else in common? Operating system or PHP versions?

    Thread Starter Pieterjan Deneys

    (@nekojonez)

The only things in common is that it is the same host, but 5 different domains and all PHP v8.0 or 8.1.

The installed plugins are all different on all websites. I do have some plugins the same but various plugins unique to certain websites.

In any case, I think this might be resolved but feel free to use this topic if you get other reports. If the update to the next version goes wrong I will let you know.
