Hello, I add this symbol > in a text field to update a custom field value (my custom field value contains this symbol). But it adds this character “>” in the custom field in WordPress editor. I’ve spent many hours to figure out why my post filter doesn’t show post result. It is because the custom field value is incorrect.

    Hello

According to security rules, all data must be checked for the content of malicious code. In your case, this special character is converted to a safe form for display – https://c2n.me/4j3dmXI.png

Unfortunately, in this case, the only solution is to disable this functionality, which we strongly recommend against doing.
