• Broken Link Checker was a nice plugin until 2.0. Version 2.0 broke several of my websites. To be fair, I would have given WPMU some space. Everyone has the right to make stupid mistakes. After all, we have a kind of history together. If only they hadn’t forced users to register. Now I have to install an alternative on all our customer websites.

    Hi @sjoechem

I hope you are doing well today.

Please note you don’t need to have the WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin and connection to HUB to still use the old engine/old version of the plugin. After the recent update, you can use/switch to the old version which is still a part of the core of Broken Link Checker.

The new version of Broken Link Checker is still in the beta version it will get more and more improvements and options. We are gathering all the feedback for the plugin and we will be working on making it better.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

@sjoechem @sylvie-aveline what alternative would you recommend? uhm… asking for a friend ??
