It was good

I’d love to rate 5 stars, but with much regret, I can only give it 3 stars.

-1 star: There is no documentation, apart from what a few people were kind enough to put online.

-1 star: support is haphazard. The author does support his extension, but my questions were never replied to. It’s a kind of lucky draw, about half of the questions are replied to. That’s to be expected from a free plugin, but still: I don’t like to be in the half that doesn’t get replies.

That makes it for me a 3-star rating, where I would have loved to give it the full 5 stars. I used it as a Swiss army knife, it can do so much! It’s great for adding multiple backgrounds and positioning them.

It WAS a great (the best) extension for Flexbox positioning, I used it everywhere until it stopped working correctly in the mobile layout. That’s a bug (I hope), but no replies from the author. That means I have to redesign all my sites with Elementor Flexbox. A heck of a lot of work, I can do well without it.

For me, it was the most important reason to use Steroids, and I really loved it. Everything else is great, but more a bonus than a necessity.

I still recommend Steroids for Elementor, but if positioning is the main reason you want to use it, you have to look elsewhere.
