    As the review title suggests.

    This plugin WAS great… Until they snuck in a hidden update without any notification to users that all store customers now need to check a checkbox at checkout to receive a review request, if we want it to be a verified review.

    This is only required for EU based customers, why are all stores outside of the EU and non EU based customers being forced to use this?

    Our reviews have cratered to zero for weeks compared to several per day and we have disabled the verification option, rendering the entire point of this plugin and service useless.

    I am a PAYING customer of their $49.99 per year pro version and I will NOT be renewing when it expires as I have been completely shafted by having functionality destroyed. Will I be getting a refund from the developers? Doubt it.

    Great way to destroy a brilliant plugin and your reputation.

  • You can use the option without verification from their side. That means the emails are being sent from wp i think. Your customers will still have the verified owner badge and nothing will look different on their side, just the checkmark on checkout will be gone.

    It is the second option on this screen Reviews > Settings

    LMAO. I am well aware that is an option. I pay to have my orders verified by a third party service which is now broken. This bodged “solution” does NOT verify the reviews with a third party service. I could use other free plugins to achieve that.
