• After struggling to make WordPress display my images in full resolution for a portfolio website, I download this piece of… well you know and it all turns to… again, you know what I mean. So if you want your hard work to go straight to the toilet, download it. Now I have to get back to trying to figure out how to re-do a month’s work and upload 300+ images to the website. Cheers!

    Hi @alecs722,

I’m sorry to hear that the plugin is not working for you. Could you explain what did not work in detail? The plugin should only modify the displayed markup of your website, and do not make any modifications to the database or stored images (after disabling the plugin everything should be like it was before), so I am really clueless what the plugin could cause that you have to re-upload images. Maybe you have a caching plugin installed that keeps markup changes alive that were made by the plugin? If so, could you try to empty the cache, maybe that helps.

Hi, sorry for the bad review, but I’ve been battling WordPress image compression for about 2 weeks with a bunch of plugins and solutions and none of them seemed to work. I finally got it (don’t know how tbh) and I spend the other 2 weeks building my portfolio. It was all complete and ready to launch today, I was doing the final steps (lazy load, cache plugin) and was done. I don’t know what went wrong. I deleted your plugin, I didn’t get the chance to install any caching plugins so I’m going crazy rn. ??

    Hey,

could you post a link to the site so I can have a look? If you don’t want to make this here in the thread, you could send me a link via email (you can find the email address on the contact page of my website, which is linked from my forum profile).

    Thanks,
    Florian
