It works!

It might be somewhat technical for a newbie but it really works – it doesn’t slow down your website and it blocks the unnecessary cookies from loading before the user gives their consent. Through a quick javascript link which you can put anywhere on the page visitors can also reload the banner and renew their decision anytime, just as the GDPR requires.

The new policy doesn’t end here – double opt-in’s, checkboxes, a looong privacy policy… – but this is a great step towards it.
