It works, but I'm amazed

This is a feature-rich plugin that can do a lot of things when it comes to importing posts, and has a lot of configuration options. I don’t think there’s anything else quite like it out there. If you need to import RSS, this is probably the way to do.

I’d give it 5 stars, except that under the hood the code is a complete mess. Frankly I’m amazed it works! There’s no adherence to basic coding standards such as proper indentation, and there’s lots of wasted, confusing, and inefficient code strewn about that has got to be horribly difficult to maintain. It could use a rewrite from the ground up to take advantage of things like objects! Or at least some basic formatting… this looks like it was written by someone who didn’t really know what they were doing and just kept slapping things together until they happened to work, without regard to any best practices.

The UI on the backend is also pretty cluttered and confusing and could really use an overhaul —?I’d dock a star just for the UI.
