• I understand this is just a library plugin, and it is indeed very easy to add custom fields to the admin menu items, but without some kind of guidance on how to extend the Walker navigation and display your new fields on the front end, the plugin is limited unless you have a fair amount of experience in php.

It is unfortunate that there is so little guidance in this regard, and the information on the internet and in the codex makes for some pretty hard reading.

The plugin is a nice starting point I think, but is only worth a 3 star rating because it is so difficult to actually use.

A few examples of how to use the fields on the front end would make it worth 4 or 5 stars.

In particular, I would like to add custom attributes to my links by using the custom fields, which so far is proving to be quite difficult.
